Refunds and Pass Guarantee

We want you to subscribe with confidence. This page explains our standard refund window, your statutory rights, and the Sparkmed pass guarantee. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Standard refund window
You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 50 questions in that time. Outside the 7-day window, or once more than 50 questions have been completed, refunds are not available except under the pass guarantee below or in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
Because subscriptions are fixed-term and do not renew automatically, there is no recurring payment to cancel. Your access simply expires at the end of the period.
2. Your statutory right to cancel
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a purchase. Because Sparkmed is digital content supplied immediately, by starting to use the platform after purchase you ask us to begin supply during the cancellation period and acknowledge that this may affect your statutory right to cancel. This does not affect your other rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
3. How to request a refund
Email medics@sparkmed.co.uk with your name, the email address on your account, the product you wish to refund and your reason. We aim to respond within 72 hours. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 14 business days. Purchases made through a third-party platform must be refunded through that platform under its own policy.
4. The Sparkmed pass guarantee
Every paid subscription includes our pass guarantee. If you meet the usage requirements, sit your exam and do not pass, we will either extend your subscription for free or refund you in full. No hedging, no caveats.
Usage requirements for a full refund
To qualify for a full refund under the pass guarantee, you must:
- complete at least 75% of the total questions in the question bank, including past papers;
- use the platform at least once a week from when your subscription starts up to and including the week of your exam;
- have held an active subscription for at least one month before your exam; and
- submit evidence of your exam result within 30 days of receiving it.
Free extension
If you do not reach the 75% threshold for a full refund but have completed at least 50% of the question bank and met the weekly usage and minimum subscription requirements, you are eligible for a free extension instead. Your personalised revision profile is kept in full, and you receive a fresh set of questions with the same comprehensive exam coverage, so your extra revision is genuinely new.
How to claim
Email medics@sparkmed.co.uk with evidence of your exam result within 30 days of receiving it. We will review your claim and respond within 5 business days. The pass guarantee applies to every paid subscription across all exams. Account sharing voids the pass guarantee and any free extension.
